Privacy policy

Product Poser is operated by David Royal. This policy covers the Product Poser website and mobile app. For privacy questions or requests, email support@productposer.com.

Information we collect and why

We process your name, email address, account identifier, password hash and sign-in sessions to create and protect your account. We use your email for verification, account recovery and service messages.

We process the photos, logos, reference images, filenames and scene instructions you submit to create images. We store original uploads, generated photos, saved scenes, folders and generation usage so you can use your library and plan allowance. Images may contain personal information; only upload material you are entitled to use.

We process purchase identifiers, subscription status and billing periods to verify purchases, restore access, manage cancellations and prevent payment fraud. Google Play handles Android purchases and Stripe handles website purchases. Their checkout forms do not send us your full payment-card details.

Our servers process IP addresses, request and authentication information, and operational errors to deliver the service, protect accounts and investigate failures. If you contact support, we receive your message, email address and any attachments you choose to send.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Webdock for hosting, OpenAI for AI image generation, MXroute for email, and Google Play and Stripe for payments. Generation inputs are sent to OpenAI for processing. Service providers may process information outside your country and retain information under their applicable terms and legal obligations. We do not promise that generation inputs are never retained by providers.

Your library is private to your account. You choose whether to download images or share them through another app; that app then handles them under its own privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses essential sign-in storage and offers optional Google Analytics only after consent. See Cookies & analytics for the information collected and how to change your choice. The bundled Android app does not initialize this website analytics integration.

Retention and deletion

We keep your active library until you delete its contents or your account. Successful account deletion removes your sign-in account, original and generated photos, folders, saved scenes, usage adjustments and active subscription records from our active service. It also removes stored Google Play purchase tokens.

We retain minimal closed-account identifiers and closed Google Play account references to prevent delayed payment notifications from recreating deleted accounts or restoring purchases to them. These safeguards currently have no scheduled expiry; they do not contain your photos, password or email address. Payment providers may retain transaction records for their own legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Backup copies, routine logs and support correspondence are not yet subject to a verified automatic deletion schedule. Our adopted retention targets are 30 days for server backups and routine logs, and 12 months after resolution for support messages, with documented legal or security exceptions. These targets are not currently guaranteed deletion deadlines. Contact us for the status of a specific deletion request, including retained copies.

Your choices

You can update account details, delete individual photos, or delete your account in Account settings. You can also request deletion without installing the app: visit Delete your Product Poser account. Download anything you want to keep first. Account deletion does not issue a refund.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, or object to or restrict certain uses. Email support to exercise these rights. We may verify account ownership before acting. Never send your password or full payment-card details.

Security

Connections to Product Poser use HTTPS. The Android app protects its stored session using Android Keystore-backed storage. We limit access to account data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children and policy changes

Product Poser is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate. We will update this page when our practices change and show the updated date above.
